Eligibility and accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account. Household admins are responsible for any additional profiles they create or manage.

Acceptable use

• Use the service lawfully and do not interfere with security, availability, or other households.
• Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes other people's rights.
• Do not try to bypass authentication, tenancy, or route-policy controls.

What the service is, and is not

IngredientsMatter helps a family with complex food needs plan its meals. It does not diagnose, treat or manage any condition, and nothing in it is medical advice.

We do our best to say what to avoid or restrict, from the conditions and foods you tell us about and the ingredients we know. Recipes change, labels differ and our food list is still growing, so read every label yourself.

What to buy and what to serve stays with you and your family. Nothing here overrules the advice of your doctor, dietitian or care team: where they have told you something different, follow them.

IngredientsMatter says the same on its front page, on the sign-in page and at the foot of every page of the signed-in workspace, and every Safety Check carries it in one line. Product labels change without notice: read the label of what you buy.

Accuracy and availability

Ingredient, product, and planning outputs may be incomplete or depend on household data supplied by users. Service availability may change while the product continues to evolve.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or limit access where necessary to protect the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or address security issues.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest published version will appear on this page. You accept these terms when you create your account. When they change, and once a year in any case, you are asked to confirm them again before you carry on.
